African Future University Industry Advisory Board Will Stress-Test Programmes Against the Jobs African Students Already Do
African Future University has appointed an industry advisory board to sit beside academic governance. Members are practitioners who hire, regulate or found organisations that students and working professionals across Africa who want a serious degree without leaving their country, their job, or their family already work in. They do not set grades. They do challenge curriculum drift.
Each year the board will read module outlines, sample assessments and anonymised student feedback. They will tell the university where a skill is missing, outdated, or taught as folklore.
Samuel Adeyemi, a brand manager in Ibadan, will give evidence this year on what early-career analysts still cannot do after a generic degree. "AFU asked for discomfort. I will bring it."
